Shutter Travel will guide you through the application process and, if you are successfully placed with a cruise line, your employer will provide travel to and from the ship, accommodation and meals onboard, camera equipment, and job placement opportunities. With your living expenses covered while at sea, you can focus on building your career, exploring the world, and saving money.

About

    • Age: 21-35 (exceptions may be made for candidates over 35)

    • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills

    • Previous experience in sales or customer service

    • Good overall health (medical clearance required)

    • No visible tattoos (some exceptions may apply)

    • Clean criminal record

    • Must hold a valid and permanent South African Passport

  • Course Fees:

    • 3 week: R25 500

    • 2 week: R21 000

    Travelling and Accommodation cost (for the training)

    Final Full Medical Examination:

    Expenses will vary depending on the Cruise Line.

    Dental Examination & Certificate:

    Visa : +/- R2000 (reimbursed by Cruise Line)

    Criminal Record Clearance : +/- R150

    Seaman’s Book : +/- R700

    Camera Equipment: All equipment is provided

  • Salary & Benefits

    • $1000-$1200 plus commission

    • Commission - $80-250/week

    • Paid to Ocean Pay Card

    Ship covers:

    • Flights to and from ship

    • Travel expenses to the ship

    • Medical while onboard

    • Uniforms (excluding shoes)

    • Reimburses up to $300 Medical

    • Reimburses Visa

    • Room and board

    • All camera equipment is provided
